Try Classic Thai Street Food at Rooster and Rice
January 22, 2018 | sack
On the streets of Thailand, khao mun gai is a common meal that you'll find at lots of street vendors. When Rooster and Rice opened a few weeks ago, the chicken-and-rice bowls became prevalent in your own community, too. Come to the new restaurant to try the chicken-and-rice combination for yourself.
You can't go wrong with the Original bowl. It features organic chicken breast and thigh, carefully poached and served over chicken-infused rice and topped with cilantro and cucumber. The entire bowl is drizzled with a sauce made of soy, chili, ginger, and garlic, and it comes with chicken broth to add extra flavor. The Marina, on the other hand, showcases skinless chicken breast and organic brown rice, plus the classic fixings, and the Vegetarian swaps out chicken or organic tofu. The Paleo comes sans rice with a hearty base of seasonal veggies instead. Pick your bowl and dig in at Rooster and Rice.
