Don't be fooled by the name: Frodo Joe’s Coffee & Tea serves up a lot more than just coffee and tea. This popular San Lorenzo eatery also serves salads, sandwiches, and its signature line of crepes.

Regulars say you should choose a savory crepe if you're hungry for a full meal. In the morning you might choose a crepe stuffed with egg, sausage, and cheese, while later in the day you might go for a shrimp pesto crepe or a classic ham and cheese crepe. If you're in the mood for something sweet, you'll be able to choose from half a dozen dessert crepes, ranging from sliced bananas with Nutella and caramel sauce, to the decadent cheesecake-stuffed crepe with fresh strawberries on top. The shop itself is bright and cheerful, so if you have time to eat in, you should consider doing so. If you're in a rush, however, you can save time by placing your order online and skipping the line when you arrive.
