Transport Your Tastebuds to Paris With Brunch at Zazie

Nestled in a narrow space on the main strip of the quirky Cole Valley neighborhood, Zazie is a French-inspired bistro that has been serving some of the best brunch in San Francisco since 1992.  Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the menu includes a variety of eggs benedict dishes, scrambled egg dishes, and griddle dishes, plus soups, sandwiches, and salads. Regulars love the gingerbread pancakes, which are inch-thick fluffy pancakes with a touch of cinnamon and topped with lemon curd and poached pears. For something more savory, order the Albert Eggs Benedict with crispy bacon, white cheddar, and salsa fresca.

Zazie’s has a friendly neighborhood vibe with a cozy 40-seat dining room with brick walls hung with art posters of French events. While the spot is well-known for its brunch, it also offers a popular Monday bring-your-dog night on the inviting patio and a $27 fixed-price dinner menu, pulled from the regular a la carte offerings.
