Try the Custard French Toast for Brunch at Nopa

March 29, 2019 | sack

NoPa, the neighborhood located north of the panhandle, is home to the similarly named trendy eatery Nopa, which serves urban rustic food and creative cocktails in a lively, two-story building. They build fresh, new menus each week from the ingredients available in Northern California — this means sourcing locally from farmers markets around the Bay Area and other nearby food purveyors.

Stop in for their popular weekend brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tasty dishes like Custard French Toast with candied winter citrus and ginger butter, Chocolate Almond Granola, and soft scrambled eggs with chickpea fritters and apple mole. In addition to brunch, Nopa also serves a dinner menu with famous dishes, such as Moroccan Vegetable Tangine and Wood-Roasted King Salmon. Pair your meal with a handcrafted cocktail like the Sunshine Fix, a tangy blend of Aperol, City of London Gin, lemon, and Angostura.
