Each year, Historic Downtown Manassas celebrates the arrival of fall with an Annual Manassas Fall Jubilee. This year, the 32nd celebration of this famed Manassas event will be held on October 4. Stop by any time from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to enjoy some of the many rich activities and events this fun, community affair has to offer.

Stroll on over from your The Courts at Historic Manassas apartment to catch the live entertainment. Meet up with friends for wine tastings at the Wine Garden, situated on the Manassas Museum's lawn. If you're hoping for a different atmosphere, try the Beer Garden. (There are many events suitable for families as well, including performer events, rides, and a pumpkin patch.)

The festival will also feature more than 100 craft and community booths, live music, lumberjack performances throughout the day, and a farmer's market.

Not far from The Courts at Historic Manassas, Manassas Mall is less of a mall and more a central location for stores catering to all your needs. It houses over 75 shops, plus a play area for children and a food court. Expect to find stylish shops like American Eagle, Aeropostale, Charlotte Russe, Macy's, and JCPenney as well as more all-purpose stores like Sears and Walmart.

But Manassas Mall offers more than a wide and varied selection of stores. It also hosts important and fun events for the Manassas community. Stop in October 4 for the Blue and White Health Fair, where you'll find fun activities and stations to get full health screens. On October 8, you can bring your young ones to the Movers and Shakers Kids Club for a morning of fun, complete with live performances.

Come to Haute Cuisine on September 18th, when your love of writing and cooking will be fused together in a celebration of high cuisine as written by cookbook authors, chefs, chocolatiers, novelists. Simply make the short trip from The Courts at Historic Manassas to the stunningly chic and modern Hylton Performing Arts Center to experience this free event.

The evening will begin at 6:15 p.m. with a food writing workshop taught by Jason Shriner, a master pastry maker who blogs regularly about food. At 7 p.m., you can join Laura Florand for a discussion of her internationally bestselling novels in the Amour et Chocolat series, perfect for readers and newcomers alike to books such as The Chocolate Thief and The Chocolate Kiss. Finally, at 7:30 p.m., the chefs and food celebrities will open up their stations for tastings and discussions. Expect to see well-known cookbook authors like Amy Riolo and Joe Yonan among the mix.
