The Long Island Fair is a great event that many look forward to each year. It's a fun way to transition from summer to fall, and this year it'll unfold at the Old Bethpage Village from September 24th to October 2nd, so head to the fair for an entire day's worth of entertainment.

Don't be surprised to see some familiar faces at the Long Island Fair, including Jimmy Riffle, the star of Animal Planet's Gator Boys show. He'll show off his own gators and reptiles at a special show at the fair. Other performances include magic shows, a fun lumberjack demo, and even a hypnotist. Don't miss the many games and arts and crafts projects as well as the classic fair food. There will also be some historically oriented demonstrations, so you might learn a little while you're at the Long Island Fair.
