Historic Haunts of Long Island: A Fun Halloween Event for Everyone

October 21, 2016 | greystar

If you're a lover of all things paranormal, then chances are you've already heard of Joe Gianquinto. A medium and paranormal investigator, Joe Gianquinto knows just about everything there is to know about the haunted backstory of Long Island. Along with historian and celebrated author Keriann Flanagan Brosky, he hosts Historic Haunts of Long Island at the Islip Public Library.

This free event gives guests a glimpse into the somewhat spooky past of Long Island. Learn about the specter that haunts the Cutchogue Village Green, or hear the tales of ghostly sightings at Grey Horse Tavern. As Joe entertains the crowd with ghost stories, Keriann will supply the history to substantiate them—that is, if you believe the dead continue to walk among the living.

Historic Haunts of Long Island
When: 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25
