You might think that pizza and beer is the only combination that makes sense, but allow Artisan Pizza Making and Craft Wine Tasting to prove you wrong. This two-hour class held at wineUdesign in Hicksville teaches guests how to pair two staples of Italian cuisine: pizza pies and glasses of wine.

Billed as the "only winery in Nassau County," wineUdesign will pour its very own vinos as class members master the art of making artisan pizzas. Local chefs provide everything you need to craft a pie, including the ingredients and the know-how, so all you have to do is show up. By the end of the night, you'll be able to actually dig into your pizza along with a glass or two of the wines on tap at wineUdesign.
