Just because the winter temperatures have set in doesn't mean you've missed your chance to explore the lush, vibrant plant life at Planting Fields. The Paradise Garden Festival 2017 highlights everything that the NYC garden and arboretum have to offer, even in the midst of the frigid temperatures.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 15th (or January 22nd in the case of snow), the Paradise Garden Festival shows off the wintry foliage at Planting Fields. Step inside the greenhouse, which is warm year-round, and ogle the beautiful orchids, vibrant green fronds, palm trees, and other colorful flora flourishing there. Then grab a cup of coffee and a freshly made sandwich or pastry in the cafe. You can also enjoy live music and free events and activities at the Paradise Garden Festival. Parking and admission are both free.
