Embrace Autumn at the Long Island Harvest Fest
October 4, 2017 | greystar
Homemade vanilla cream soda and maple bacon doughnuts. Craft beer and seasonal pumpkin brews. Fresh seafood, grilled burgers, and spicy wings. These are the elements that make up the day of fun that is the Long Island Harvest Fest. On Saturday, October 7th, the Lindenhurst Fire Department, Chemical and Salvage Co. #2 hosts the festival at Fireman's Park.
From 1 to 7 p.m., the park hosts a lineup of food vendors dishing out everything from roasted corn to locally brewed beers. Arts and crafts vendors will come to the park to display their masterpieces at colorful booths, and bands from Long Island and beyond will take to the main stage. General admission is $10 per ticket, but kids under 12 are admitted for free.
