Celebrate Halloween a Few Days Late at the 5th Annual rUNDEAD 5K Zombie Run on November 4th

When you run a traditional 5K, there's really only one goal: make it to the finish line. That's not the case at the 5th Annual rUNDEAD 5K Zombie Run and Fall Family Festival at Massapequa PAL Field on Saturday, November 4th. In order to truly walk away from this race as a victor, you'll have to cross the finish line with at least one flag attached to your belt—and with zombies roaming all across the course, it's going to be a challenge.
Those zombies also have a goal, and it's to infect as many runners as possible with the virus that transformed them into the undead. In order to do this, they must remove all three of the flags that runners get at the beginning of the race. Those who lose all three along the way can continue to the finish line, but they won't be eligible for prizes. Don't worry if you end up "infected," though. There's still a fun festival waiting for you after the race. Registration is $40 and proceeds go to the Special Olympics.
