Celebrate at the Farmingdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 11

February 27, 2018 | greystar

Bagpipers clad in kilts and floats dressed in different shades of emerald move down Main Street every year for the Farmingdale St. Patrick's Day Parade. This year, the parade falls on the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, March 11th. It launches at 1 p.m. from the Northside School and weaves down Main Street all the way to Village Green.

Over the course of the next hour, a stream of colorful performance troupes, local businesses, and other groups will wave to the crowd. Once the parade wraps up, you can still snap a festive shot over at the Village Green, where St. Paddy's Day-themed photo ops await. Then feel free to grab an early dinner at one of the eateries in downtown Farmingdale or check out the shops scattered along Main Street.
