The Hancock Humane Society keeps the four-legged critters in Melville safe and happy, and if you're an animal lover, this should set your mind at ease. There are many ways you can contribute to the cause of the Hancock Humane Society, including participating in the 2016 Ultimate Dogpawlooza.
The two-mile walk benefits the animals who are being kept safe and warm at the Hancock Humane Society. Families can register for the walk for $20—which includes one dog—and bring along any additional dogs for $5 apiece. The stroll will take place along a scenic stretch of the Bridle Path. Afterwards, watch the Ultimate Air Dogs perform. The troupe of pooches is known nationwide for its high-flying tricks, so you won't want to miss this special event in Melville.
