It's easy to see why Mazzei's Gourmet Pizza claims to serve "the best pizza you will ever have," because this popular Katy eatery takes the classic Italian pie to a whole new level. At Mazzei's you'll find unique combinations, like the Aloha pizza, which substitutes pesto for traditional red pizza sauce beneath ham, pineapple, artichoke hearts, bacon, and feta cheese. Or try the Alfredo pizza, which starts with a base of creamy white sauce, piled high with chicken, mushrooms, spinach, and parmesan.

Of course, you'll find classic basil, tomato, and mozzarella combinations, too, and customers are also free to design a pizza with customized toppings. Any pizza can be ordered Neapolitan style or deep dish, and regular customers say that though it takes longer for a deep dish pizza to bake, the wait is well worth it.
