Showing a wide variety of independent and commercial films, Angelika Film Center showcases some of the best cinema around in a cool environment. The two-story complex holds eight theaters, but you'll also find a cafe on the first floor, glowing in the light of a beautiful chandelier. The cafe offers a wide selection of snacks and drinks like coffee, tea, wine, baked goods, and other items not usually found at movie theaters, like edamame. There are also heartier options such as sandwiches, so the cafe is a great place to grab a meal before or after the movie.

You’re welcome to take your food into the auditorium, too, whether or not you opt for more traditional movie treats like soda and popcorn. You'll notice as soon as you enter your theater that it features comfy stadium seating with clear sightlines.

Angelika Film Center resides inside the Lofts at Mockingbird Station, and is obviously well-located to travel on the DART. This is a gem literally in your backyard, so you should check it out!
