Anyone looking for an easy spot for food and drinks should make plans to visit The People’s Last Stand, a restaurant that's just a stone's throw from The Lofts at Mockingbird Station.

This New American restaurant is a great spot to visit for lunch, dinner, happy, or late-night drinks with a menu that consists of flatbreads (in flavors like veggie and margherita), a variety of small plates (hummus, deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs), and desserts.

However, the focus here is arguably the lengthy cocktail menu, which is broken down into a number of categories. Cocktail specials vary with the season, but guests can look forward to classic cocktails (think Old Fashioneds) and more inventive cocktails, like the Orange Julius (vodka, orange, pineapple, agave, cinnamon, and vanilla).

The People’s Last Stand is open daily, but note that the restaurant does not take reservations.
