The Korean Festival (K-Fest) was created with the idea of uniting ther Korean Community while showcasiung Koren Culture to the Greater Houston Community. The 2014 K-Fest will provide a fair-like atmosphere for diverse groups and performers such as traditional Korean dancers, Korean folk musicians, TaeKwonDo masters, and Korean American musicians who will conduct demonstrations and exhibit their unique talents. Rodney Crowell; Grand Old Grizzly Opens. The Grammy Award Winning Houston Kid. Rodney Crowell cut his teeth in Houston before going on to record 5 Number 1 hits in the 1980's. In 2014 Crowell won his 2nd Grammy for his work with Emmylou Harris on the Old Yellow Moon and released another solo record, Tarpaper Sky. Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are welcome; food, beer and wine are available at the Lake House Restaurant. No glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages, please.
