Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo

Sip on hot chocolate as you stroll around the Houston Zoo taking in the displays made up of more than two million lights.
In addition to the lights, visitors can enjoy music from local carolers at the reflection pool stage at 7pm and 8pm.
Most animals will be asleep, but visitors can expect to see elephants, giraffes, plus many creatures in the Reptile House, Kipp Aquarium, Bug House and Carruth Natural Encounters building.
Zoo Lights always gets crowded. It will be held nightly from Friday, November 20, 2015 through Saturday, January 9, 2016. Zoo Lights is closed on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24 and Christmas Day, Friday, December 25.
Mondays through Thursday are value nights. Fridays through Sundays are prime nights and admission is higher.
Admission is $14.95 on value nights; $9.95 for members; free for children 1 and under. On prime nights tickets are $19.95; $14.95 for Zoo members; free for children 1 and under. Click here to order tickets.
