Houstonia hosts representatives from Houston restaurants in a competition to see who makes the best gumbo.

Competing restaurants include Antone’s Famous Po’Boys, Artisans Restaurant, BB’s Cafe, Bramble, Brasserie 19, Freedom to Indulge, Holley’s Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar, Main Kitchen & 806 Lounge, My Fit Foods, The Rollin’ Kitchen, Ruggles Black, Treebeards Restaurant, The Cajun Stop, The Union Kitchen in Kingwood and reigning champ Peli Peli.

Tickets include unlimited food, drinks and entertainment.

The events benefits the Sunshine Kids Foundation.
