Don your dirndls and lederhosen and raise your glass at the Oktoberfest Kick-Off Weekend at King’s Biergarten from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, 2015.

King’s Biergarten invites you to join their three-day Oktoberfest celebration complete with food, drinks, activities and live music, just like you’d find in Munich.

The weekend kicks off with the Ceremonial Keg Tapping at 7pm on Friday, followed by three days of revelry.

Enjoy beer by the stein and German fare like bratwurst, pretzels, and a Bavarian pig roast. Hang out in the Oktoberfest tent, challenge friends to a jousting competition, snap a pic in the photo booth, and get an eyeful at the Bavarian Strongman Competition.

Beer selection includes Franconia Oktoberfest, Hofbrau Dunkel, Hofbrau Oktoberfest, Karbach Oktoberfest, Paulaner Oktoberfest, Stiegl Radler, Warsteiner Oktoberfest and Warsteiner Oktoberfest.

German bands Das Ist Lustig and Enzian Buam will provide live music from 6pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 4pm to 9pm on Sunday.

Naturally, Texans fans won’t miss out on Sunday. The Texans vs. Bills will be viewed on Sunday in the Oktoberfest Tent. Kickoff is at noon.

Everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing for a trip for two to Munich for Oktoberfest 2016. Ten finalists will be selected each night and the winner will be announced at 7pm on Sunday. Winners must be present at the drawing on Sunday to win.

VIP tickets include unlimited wine and draft beer in the VIP area, an authentic three-course dinner, access to the festival grounds and VIP parking close to the event.

Overnight Stays

King’s Oktoberfest also has special rates for hotel packages, so you can have a great time and not worry about an expensive fare back home to Houston. Visit their website and click on Hotel in the top menu bar to see the specials.

The free Pearland Arts and Crafts on the Pavilion is happening in Pearland Town Center on both Saturday and Sunday, featuring popular Houston area artists selling their creations, live music, and culinary treats. Visit visitpearland.com for more information.
