Vinofest: Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

It's almost wine season, so it's the perfect time to begin planning your wine-tasting for the summer. Vinofest is a good place to start. On June 2nd and 3rd, Canal Park transforms into one enormous, fresh-air tasting room where you can sample glasses of more than 100 different types of wine.
Tickets begin at $59 and include unlimited samples of the wines, provided by wineries from all around the area. Of course, there will also be upscale cuisine to accompany the vino. If you have a question about anything you tried, flag down a roaming sommelier and ask them on the spot. Some local chefs will even take to the stage to demonstrate their cooking techniques. And once you've enjoyed your fill, you can kick back and enjoy live music or check out the artisan market at this year's Vinofest.
