Enjoy Craft Suds and Local Fare at the Snallygaster Beer Festival

September 18, 2017 | greystar

Craft beer brewers from all over the country will converge on Yards Park in Washington, DC for the Snallygaster Beer Festival on Saturday, September 23rd. You're going to recognize the names of the big breweries, like Sierra Nevada and Allagash, but you might be unfamiliar with smaller breweries like Upland, Oliver, and Kent Falls—and that's exactly the point.

The Snallygaster Beer Festival brings together beer lovers to enjoy their favorite suds and their new favorite suds all afternoon long. More than 350 craft beers and ciders will be on tap at this year's fest, paired with food from DC's top food trucks, live music, and lawn games. Best of all, the $35 you spend on a general admission ticket goes to a good cause: the Arcadia demonstration farm in Alexandria. The farm is moving the area toward sustainable agriculture through its practices, and it also delivers food to low-income neighborhoods without access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
