The 42nd Annual Virginia Wine Festival is coming to Alexandria on October 14th and 15th, and it's bringing enough vino to keep guests sipping from noon until 6 p.m. Wineries from all over Virginia will be supplying the wines, which are all crafted right here in your own state. Some will also offer ciders for those who want to mix up their libations.

Wine isn't the only thing on the menu at the 42nd Annual Virginia Wine Festival. For the first time, the VA Oyster Pavilion will invite guests to pair their drinks with fresh, local oysters. There will even be a few craft beers on tap in the pavilion. Then there are the food vendors scattered around the fest, like the local DC Korean BBQ Truck, The Big Cheese, and Sherri's Crab Cakes, to name just a few. The general admission tickets ($35) entitle guests to unlimited wine tastings using a souvenir glass and access to everything the festival has to offer.
