Artisan Brews Meet Gourmet Bites at the Fair Winds Beer and Cheese Pairing on Jan. 11

Each year, Fair Winds Brewing Company teams up its master brewer Charlie Buettner with a local chef to create the perfect combos of brews and bites. This year, Charle will collaborate with Justus Frank, the executive chef at Live Oak Restaurant, for the Fair Winds Beer and Cheese Pairing on Thursday, January 11th from 6 to 9 p.m.
Live Oak Restaurant enlists locally sourced ingredients to craft contemporary versions of Southern comfort food, and Chef Justus will follow the same culinary philosophy as he picks the cheeses to pair with five Fair Winds brews. For $30, guests can enjoy a welcome pint of beer plus five samples of other brews with their complementary cheeses in the brewpub. While you sip and nibble, the brewer-chef duo will explain the nuances of everything you're tasting.
