At the Margaret Lesher Center for the Arts, stars are made. Welcome to the Center REPertory Company, where you are lucky enough to be entertained with contemporary drama and comedy. This is a working repertory company, which means that a lot of the talent is home-grown. But these are no amateur productions – every play is produced, directed, and acted by theater professionals. What this means for you is a fantastic theatrical season, very year! The 2012-2013 season has some great plays on schedule, like the surprise Broadway musical hit Xanadu. Get ready to laugh with comedies like The Underpants by Steve Martin. Other big Broadway hits like The 39 Steps are also on tap this season. The Center REPertory Company is also a teaching institution, where aspiring actors and directors learn the trade of bringing a quality production to stage.
