Eleve: Tasty Vietnamese Cuisine

October 8, 2013 | sack

Eleve melds Vietnamese food, cooked by chef and owner Michelle Nguyen, with New American fare, providing an update on both and creating a dining experience that—per the restaurant’s name—is intended to elevate your meal beyond casual. For an appetizer, consider the Classic (or Vegetarian, should you be so inclined) Imperial Rolls, both of which make excellent use of the crispy wrap and sweet onions. The Riesling prawn is a specialty, as well, consisting of sautéed tiger prawns, sweet Riesling, garlic, and black pepper. When it comes time to choose an entrée, the cubed filet mignon is a perennial favorite among Élevé patrons while seafood and salads are also on hand for pescetarians and vegetarians, respectively. The full bar serves excellent handcrafted cocktails, too. Prices can be a little steep, but for diners who feel they can afford it the Élevé experience would certainly be worth the splurge.
