Explore the Beauty of Nature Around Town Center Apartments at Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve

East Bay residents have a volcano right in their backyards, and it's also known as Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve. This park is open to the public and a favorite among locals, as it contains trails with a mix of road and gravel paths to jog, walk, or hike.

Round Top is the preserve’s highest peak, and it's made of lava and volcanic debris left over from a 10-million-year-old volcano. It also measures nearly 2,000 feet above sea level. A self-guided map shows the trails system, and visitors will be delighted to find three labyrinths scattered throughout the valleys. Locals advise wearing proper hiking shoes if you plan to explore the hillsides. There are viewpoints where the scenery of the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge are stunning, but it can get a bit slippery if you don’t have the proper footwear.
