Admire the Beauty of Nature Around Town Center Apartments at Briones Regional Park
April 12, 2016 | sack
The beauty of nature will blow you away at Briones Regional Park, a park filled with huge, winding trees, rolling hills, and grassy meadows. You’ll see local wildlife in its natural setting, including goats, hawks, foxes, and sometimes cows. Grab a map and head out on one of the winding trails this weekend.
With plenty of hiking trails that wind through the Martinez area, you’re likely to find one that suits your exercise style and level. At the top, there is a place to sit and catch your breath while taking in the cities of Walnut Creek, Concord, and Benicia. Dogs love hiking the trail, but be sure to bring extra water for the two of you, as there aren't fountains along the way.
Families descend upon this park when the weather is nice to enjoy the picnic areas with barbecues, and there is even a restroom right on site. When busy, the parks department tends to charge a parking fee, so grab cash to cover your fee to keep the park open and clean.
