Find Classics for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Sideboard

Like the piece of furniture from which it gets its name, Sideboard in Lafayette is a little bit old-fashioned, a little bit sophisticated. This neighborhood restaurant and cafe opened its doors on Plaza Way in 2016, and when you enter, you’ll find that the atmosphere is a combination of artsy local coffee shop and rustic country inn—during the day you’ll find folks sipping lattes while tapping on laptops, but later in the evening you’ll see folks tucking into fried chicken or meatloaf dinners.
Regulars recommend the house-made English muffins for breakfast, and the skirt steak sandwich at lunch or dinner. Best of all, you can order your meal picnic-style, and the restaurant will provide you with a basket and a blanket to spread out on the grass outside. Follow Sideboard on social media or check out its website for the latest news on special menus, live entertainment, or other community events.
