Barbecue is a global culinary phenomenon, and the Brazilian version has a reputation for being among the best. At Brasas Do Brazil Churrascaria in Concord, the traditionally grilled meats and authentic tableside service experience (called rodizio in Portuguese) has drawn high marks from the locals.
As is the custom at a Brazilian steakhouse, the most popular order is a “full churrasco,” which is a fixed price, all-you-can-eat selection of over a dozen different barbecued meats, coupled with a full salad bar and hot station sides. All of the meats are prepared rotisserie-style over an open charcoal flame, then served at your table on large skewers and cut to your specifications. On any given night, the cuts of meat can include picanha, filet mignon, chicken hearts, bacon-wrapped pork, and leg of lamb. Just be sure to come hungry!
