A charming little spot on the edge of Lafayette near the Trader Joe’s on Mt Diablo Boulevard, Panache Caffe is truly a local gem. It’s equally well-suited for a quick pit stop while running chores or an hours-long study session, and this coffee shop is well-loved for its warm customer service, quality single-origin coffee, and fresh pastries. 

The blueberry scones, caramel lattes and chai all get high marks from Yelp reviewers, and not for nothing, but Panache also produces some of the most Instagram-friendly latte art you’ll ever see. In addition to the hot and iced coffee, matcha, and hot chocolate, there’s also an extensive menu of bubble teas, including mango green milk tea, masala chai, and vanilla black. The main seating area is bright cozy, with about 20 chairs scattered among a handful of tables. You should also check out the patio when the weather is nice.
