July 25, 2016 | sack
Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services has partnered with the San Jose Parks Foundation to offer the city’s first-ever Wine & Painting in the Park on Friday, July 29 at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park. The night will include an extensive wine bar featuring local wineries, as well as a free painting class led by a seasoned in-house art instructor, accompanied by live classical guitar performances.
The first 30 artists to register will reserve an artist’s station, which includes an easel, paintbrush set, acrylic paint, and a free 20” x 30” canvas to take home. While this event is absolutely free and open to the public, space is limited. Wine & Painting in the Park will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; however, the wine bar will be available from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Register online to reserve your spot!
