The drinks at Academic Coffee are a real treat for coffee enthusiasts. The pop-up location in Five Points was such a success that this permanent location on 2nd Street opened in mid-August, and has been a bright spot in the neighborhood ever since.

The space itself is quite bright and fresh, with plenty of natural light and seating. Stop in for premium coffee drinks, including inventive latte flavors like mint or coconut complete with beautiful latte art. Fans of cold brew will rave about their nitro cold brew with its creamy texture and super smooth finish. The menu is somewhat limited, but a lot of care and attention is put into every cup that they serve. Academic Coffee also serves pastries from Third Culture Bakery and Alexander’s Patisserie, or occasionally features a specialty sandwich in limited quantities.
