Stop by Social Policy for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner

June 25, 2018 | sack

You don't have to come to Social Policy on a certain day to dig into brunch. The kitchen serves up inventive brunch dishes every day of the week until 2 p.m., so swing by for a bowl loaded with Greek yogurt, banana, granola, and honey or golden-brown toast topped with smashed avocado, miso-tahini spread, and heirloom radishes any day of the week.

If you come to Social Policy for dinner, expect to see a similar roster of New American eats on the menu. Share a few small plates with your significant other or friends, like the house-made mac and cheese, the rye toast topped with egg salad and smoked paprika, or the bread pudding embellished with whiskey sauce and chocolate drizzle. Then dig into the main dish, perhaps the vegetarian coconut-chickpea stew or the "Thai-ish fried rice." The latter starts with a foundation of basmati rice, which the chef piles with andouille sausage, house-pickled pineapple, sweet soy sauce and coconut-curry sauce, scallions, cilantro, chilies, and a sunny-side-up egg.
