For nearly three decades, the people of Milwaukee have gathered in the Historic Third Ward every couple of months to ooh and aah over the works of local artists. On April 15 and 16, as well as upcoming dates in July and October, you can join the masses to enjoy Gallery Night and Day 2016 events.

About 50 of Milwaukee's art venues and galleries throw their doors open wide to invite in the public, allowing everyone to explore the masterpieces on display inside. You can check out which local artists will be participating at the Gallery Night and Day's website, or simply show up and be surprised. Discover new favorite artists from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, or come on Saturday anytime from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to see what's hanging on the walls of your favorite gallery in the Historic Third Ward.
