The rain is supposed to hold off this Sunday, which is good news for the thousands of bicyclists planning to take part in the UPAF Ride for the Arts! Making claim to being "the nation's largest one-day recreational bike ride to support the performing arts," this event raises funds for UPAF (United Performing Arts Fund), a non-profit organization that supports select performing arts groups in southeast Wisconsin.
This year. the UPAF Ride for the Arts takes place on Sunday, June 5, with four routes of varying lengths: 10, 24, 45, and 70 miles (registration is still open on the website!). Each route begins at the Summerfest South Gate entrance and passes by some of the area's most notable landmarks. After the ride, stick around for the Finish Line Party and enjoy music, beer, and food! Hope to see you there!
