Now Open: Lost Valley Cider Co., Milwaukee’s Very First Hard Cider Bar!
June 10, 2016 | wimmer
Did you hear? Lost Valley Cider Co., the first of its kind in Milwaukee, is now open! The hard cider bar, which is located in Walker's Point, made its debut on June 1. The draw here? "Unique, diverse and exciting ciders," including 20-plus on tap and even more by the bottle and can. Neophytes are encouraged to opt for a flight: three-ounce pours that allow you to sip and explore a few ciders before committing to a pint. Pair your chosen favorite with a bag of freshly popped popcorn or a cheese plate. As for the decor, expect a gritty, industrial vibe, complete with exposed ductwork, Edison lightbulbs, polished concrete floors, and a shiny copper bar.
Rather see for yourself? Sunday, June 26, would be a good time to stop by. That's when Lost Valley Cider Co. will host Tasting: Cider 101, an exploration of five premium ciders led by Stuart Rudolph, co-owner of Lost Valley. The workshop costs $20 and reservations are required, so sign up today!
