Eleven days,11 stages, 800-plus acts, 1,000 performances, 900,000 attendees. That's a quick by-the-numbers look at Summerfest, which makes claim to being the "world's largest music festival."

Back for its 50th year in 2016, Summerfest takes over the 75-acre Henry Maier Festival Park to present music performances in music genres that span reggae and rock, alternative to country. Some highlights from this year's Summerfest lineup? Ryan Adams, Death Cab For Cutie, Weezer, Paul McCartney, Pitbull, Blake Shelton, Garbage, Blink-182, and The Decemberist, to name a few. What's more, festival-goers can expect 45-plus food and beverage vendors, plus shopping in four different marketplaces!
