Here's a true sign (and sound!) of summer: the return of Wimmer Communities' Concerts in the Gardens! In partnership with Milwaukee County Parks, Wimmer Communities is bringing another season of music to the Boerner Botanical Gardens.

In full bloom with beautiful annuals and perennials, the Boerner Botanical Gardens' verdant acres provide the setting for a series of outdoor concerts, which take place every Thursday through Sept. 1. Every week features a different performer, from local American Idol alum Naima Adedapo on July 7 to '60s throwback band Generation on August 25. Eventgoers are invited to bring their own food to enjoy during the two-hour performances, and perhaps best of all, the show is free of charge! What's more, eventgoers are invited to stroll the gardens—also for free—after the show.
