An Event You Won’t Want to Miss: Milwaukee’s Annual Mexican Fiesta, Returning Aug. 26 to the Summerfest Grounds

August 22, 2016 | wimmer

"Fun, food, Mariachi, and fiesta for everyone." That's the promise of the Mexican Fiesta, which has been an annual tradition here in Milwaukee since 1973. This year, the three-day-long event, which makes claim to being the largest paid-entrance Mexican festival in the state, returns on Friday, August 26, to the Henry W. Maier Festival Park.

Join the anticipated 80,000 attendees in enjoying the festival's attractions, which spans live Latin music and dance, a jalapeno-eating contest, and a Día de los Muertos parade to shopping, cooking demonstrations, and, of course, plenty of food! Arrive hungry so that you can get your fill of pan de feria, a traditonal Mexican sweet bread!
