Clear your calendars, movie buffs! The Milwaukee Film Festival returns on Thursday, Sept. 22, for its eight-annual celebration of all-things film. The festival, which takes place at five theaters over a 15-day span, offers cinephiles a chance to get acquainted with up-and-coming actors and directors, as well as rediscover classic blockbuster films.

Hundreds of movies are on the Milwaukee Film Festival's lineup for 2016, from old favorites like Beauty and the Beast to shorts, indie flicks, and documentaries that you've likely yet to see. Also on the agenda this year? Parties and special guest appearances.
