Here's a sure sign that the holiday season is fast approaching: The Milwaukee Holiday Parade is taking place this weekend! Returning for its 89th year, this beloved annual tradition will take over the streets of downtown Milwaukee beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Free to attend, the parade steps off from Kilbourn Avenue and Astor Street and ends at The Shops of Grand Avenue, spreading holiday cheer along the way. Take your spot along the parade route and keep your eyes (and ears!) peeled for local celebs, costumed characters, floats and balloons, marching bands, live animals, and Santa Claus. After the parade, be sure to snap a selfie with St. Nick!
