Summerfest Comes to Milwaukee Again This Year, and It’s Bringing Bob Dylan

July 3, 2017 | wimmer

The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Luke Bryan. Bob Dylan. The Chainsmokers. Big Sean. This is a mere snapshot of the lineup at this year's Summerfest in Milwaukee, a festival that stretches from Wednesday, June 28th to Sunday, July 9th. The fest is about more than just music, though, as it also brings along a slew of family-friendly events throughout the week-and-a-half span.

Come to Summerfest on Wednesday, July 5th for Sentry Foods and Dean's Milk and Ice Cream Children's Fest Day. Come between noon and 3 p.m. to enter for free, then take a self-guided tour of the kid-friendly activities on hand for the day. Follow the Map of Fun to different corners of the festival for fun the whole family can enjoy. You can also take advantage of discounts on Dean's Milk and Ice Cream and hot fare from Sentry Foods. The following day, seniors are admitted for free for the Direct Supply Seniorfest Day. The music lineup this day includes The Booze Brothers, Rich Trueman and the 22nd Street Horn Band, and other oldies bands. If you want to see a mainstage show, check out the lineup and purchase tickets, separate from the Summerfest admission fee.
