If you're the proud parent of an adorable fur-baby or interested in becoming one, Fromm PetFest deserves a spot on your calendar. It's coming to the Henry Maier Festival Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 23rd, offering a full slate of activities for four-legged friends and their owners.
If you're coming to PetFest without a cat or dog in tow, but you'd like to leave with one (or at least the adoption process in the works), start at Adoption Avenue. Many animal rescue organizations from around the area will have their cutest pups and cats on-hand, each looking for his or her forever home. Anyone who already has a pet can let their canine get some exercise on the agility course, the lure course, or at the Doggie Dash or dock diving areas. Cat owners should check out Kitty City, which is packed with everything you need to keep your feline happy. And for human owners, there will be plenty of live music, food, and pet supply vendors to peruse.
