Get an All-Access Glimpse Behind the Scenes of Your City During Doors Open Milwaukee on Sept. 23-24

September 21, 2017 | wimmer

Doors Open Milwaukee quite literally throws the doors open to 170 historic and architecturally relevant buildings in the city on September 23rd and 24th. The concept of letting the public explore the "built environment" was championed by Open House Worldwide, which has spawned similar events all across the globe. Doors Open Milwaukee is the fourth-largest, right after Chicago, London, and Toronto.

So if you've never been to a Doors Open event before, don't miss your chance to discover new neighborhoods and buildings this year. There's no need to call ahead or reserve tickets; simply show up at any of the buildings on the list and take a self-guided tour or join a guided tour. Some of the buildings participating in this year's Doors Open Milwaukee include the towering U.S. Bank Building, the beautiful Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee City Hall, and the Basilica of St. Josaphat.
