Don’t Miss “Guys and Dolls” at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater This October
October 6, 2017 | wimmer
The Milwaukee Repertory Theater ensures that Broadway enthusiasts have access to top-notch productions right in their own backyard, no plane ride to NYC necessary. This October, world-traveled artistic director Mark Clements and award-winning choreographer Stephen Mear are teaming up to bring Guys and Dolls to the Milwaukee Repertory Theater now through October 29th.
This production pays homage to the classic tale that first came to Broadway in 1950. It follows the story of a pair of gamblers as they navigate the perils of love and placing bets from the streets of New York City to Havana. As the story unfolds, you'll probably recognize some of the up-tempo musical numbers set to songs that are now classics, like "Luck Be a Lady" and "A Bushel and a Peck." Feel free to sing along as the actors dance across the stage in this local production of Guys and Dolls. Tickets start at $20.
