Established in 1995 by Pina, an immigrant from Naples, Pina’s Bistro specializes in authentic regional Italian cuisine made to order with fine ingredients. The fried mozzarella, served with marinara sauce, is a particularly memorable appetizer, but regardless of whether you choose to order one or not Pina’s bread is homemade, fresh, and delicious. All entrees come with a complimentary house salad of a decent size. The gnocchi makes for an excellent meal but among the most highly prized items on the Pina’s menu is the sausage, which is made fresh daily and available as a side for those whose entrée do not include it. The lemoncello cake and tiramisu are very good desserts and a nice way to finish up a meal. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is as friendly as you’d hope from a family-owned restaurant.
