Mark Your Calendars: Moms Can Enjoy Free Admission to Hershey Gardens on Mother’s Day, May 8
April 26, 2016 | desouzabrown
Hershey Gardens is a place that has literally grown over time. With an original size of only 3.5 acres when it began in the 1930s, it now boasts over 32 acres. The gardens span further than the eye can see, broken down into 11 themed gardens. The themed gardens offer an herb garden full of aromatic plants, a rock garden for all seasons, and a Japanese garden with a reflection pond, among others. (The website will tell you all about what blooms you can anticipate to encounter depending on the time of your visit.)
This impressive attraction also boasts a children’s garden offering a “world of enchantment” with 32 more themed gardens inside the gates for interaction and play, as well as a butterfly house with over 300 species of butterflies, an oak garden, and an arboretum.
Tickets are reasonable, ranging from $7.50 to $10.50 depending on age. You can also purchase a membership to go as many times as you want. Be sure to visit the Hershey Gardens website to keep tabs on upcoming events and promos, like free admission for all moms on Mother's Day, May 8!
