Simple, Budget-Friendly Ways to Decorate Your Home for Fall

The air is crisper, the leaves are changing, and your favorite pumpkin-spiced beverages are back on the menu. If you'd like to bring the colors and coziness of fall into your home (without being too hard on your wallet!), consider these decorating tips!

1) Look outside. Who says your decorations need to be storebought? One of the best ways to (quite literally) bring the outdoors in is to borrow from Mother Nature. Head outdoors and gather a few fallen twigs, some acorns, or some colorful leaves, then use them to add festive flair to your home. You could, for example, create a striking vased arrangement with the twigs, or display the acorns in a glass bowl.

2) Layer up. With the mercury falling, now is the perfect time to break out those warm blankets in flannels and faux fur! Also, consider swapping your muted throw pillows with ones that represent the warmer, fiery shades of autumn.

3) Light a candle. Nothing says cozy like the sight of a flickering flame. Light a few candles in fall-themed fragrances, or consider making your own stovetop potpourri.
