How to Celebrate Halloween This Year in the Hershey-Harrisburg Region

'Tis the season for ghosts and ghouls, and there are countless ways to get in the Halloween spirit (pun intended!) here in the Hershey-Harrisburg region. Here are a few local Halloween events you won't want to miss this year!
1) 69th Annual Halloween Parade In Hershey
Stepping off at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, this family-friendly event invites the young and young at heart to join in on a festive parade through downtown Hershey. Don't forget to wear your Halloween costume! Delicious Hershey chocolate will be doled out. Yum!
2) Hersheypark in the Dark
Our hometown amusement park takes on a sinister vibe during the annual Hersheypark in the Dark event. Select thrill rides will run in the pitch darkness, while younger guests can partake in Hershey's Trick-or-Treat Adventure or a flashlight tour of ZooAmerica. Wear your costume!
3) Ghost Chilli Feast At Spring Gate's Halloween Celebration
Head to Spring Gate Vineyard on Oct. 29 for a Halloween celebration with a side of chili! Local vendors will be on site to sell their delicious chilis and Halloween-goodies, and live music is also on the docket. This event takes place from noon to 9 p.m.
